At Northshore Steel, Inc. we produce quality, assured by computerized reports that track each job from start to finish. This regular monitoring ensures that producation is ready for delivery on schedule and is only a portion of our Quality Management System.

We also make regular visits to our job sites to check on work progress and keep us in touch with our customers. This is why we have had so many of those customers for years and years.

Currently, we fulfill contracts in the following materials:

stainless steel . steel . aluminum
fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP)
epoxy coated products

And we supply:

structural and miscellaneous steel
plate weldments . bar joist . deck
cast trenches . treads . rail
gratings

Equipment List and Capabilities:

5-ton and 3-ton bridge cranes in main shop area
2-ton bridge crane in separate bay
Jib cranes at various work stations

Other equipment includes:

CNC Burn Table 10 x 25
CNC Drill Line 40
24 capacity band saw
Radial arm drill with 19 column
Radial arm drill with 8 column
Hydraulic punches with capacity of 1-3/16 diameter hole through 5/8 material
Multiple head electronic cutting machine and plasma cutting systems for
stainless steel and aluminum materials up to 1 thick
Bar and angle shearing
Wire feed welders for fine wire, core wire, stainless steel and aluminum
Bolt threading
Painting equipment
Sandblast equipment

Plant Dimensions:

Our primary fabrication site totals 20,000 sq. ft.

For painting and coating applications:

40 x 40 sandblasting enclosure (1,600 sq. ft.)
30 x 60 preheat/drying enclosure (1,800 sq. ft.)
50 x 60 paint area (3,000 sq. ft.)
